Still red Negroamaro Salento IGT, 13% ABV, produced by Mottura. 100% Negroamaro, 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a family and a region, an icon of Salento. The Mottura company, founded in 1927, is a benchmark for the production of quality wines. The Mottura company is located in Tuglie, a small town in southern Salento. The headquarters remain the same, a beautiful late 19th-century Baroque estate. Traditional maceration for 8-10 days and fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature, using periodic pumping over and delestage. Aged 2-3 months in bottle. Intense, ample bouquet of ripe fruit, pepper, tobacco, and walnut husk, slightly ethereal. Deep red color with purple highlights. Full-bodied and harmonious, with soft tannins, a wine that invites conviviality.
