The Story
Still rosé from Veneto, produced by Villabella. Blend of Corvina and Rondinella. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. Founded in 1971 by Walter Delibori and Giorgio Cristoforetti, it is still owned by the two families who directly manage it. The wine production includes all the great classic Veronese wines such as Bardolino, Lugana, Custoza, Soave, Valpolicella, Ripasso, and Amarone, as well as fine IGT whites and reds made from native grapes of the Verona province. A rosé that enchants with its freshness and aromas, a tribute to the Veronese terroir. Citrus and floral notes stand out on the nose, accompanied by vegetal notes reminiscent of sage. A light pink color with lychee, peach, or pearl pink hues. On the palate, good acidity and savory character are evident, combined with an enviable youthful freshness on the finish. The citrus notes, particularly lemon, linger on the aftertaste.
